Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 9: <\/span>Sandeep Tripathy, the co-creator of first AI generated Hindi singer model and music creator, <\/strong>has been honored<\/strong><\/a> with the Create in India Challenge Award<\/strong> at the inaugural World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025)<\/strong>. He received the award in the AI Avatar Creation<\/em> category for his groundbreaking work on Maaia<\/strong>, India\u2019s first AI-generated Hindi singer and model. Hosted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B)<\/strong>, the event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi<\/strong> at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.<\/p>\n

Maaia made her debut in December 2024<\/strong> with the single \u201cKaun Hai Yeh,\u201d<\/em> a seamless blend of generative AI vocals and visually immersive storytelling. Powered by STAS Canvas\u2019s proprietary technologies, along with several cloud-based solutions such as Kling AI and the open-source Flux, Maaia represents the cutting edge of AI in music and modeling. Following Kaun Hai Yeh<\/em>, she released a series of tracks on her official YouTube channel @MaaiaWorld<\/a>,<\/strong> including \u201cDil Ik Dhoonde\u201d<\/em>\u2014a soothing 90s pop fusion celebrating joy in rural India\u2014and \u201cYou\u2019re My Number 1,\u201d<\/em> an infectious, 1980s-inspired retro anthem. These tracks highlight Maaia\u2019s genre-hopping versatility and reinforce her rising presence as India\u2019s premier AI-powered singing sensation.<\/p>\n
