Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India],\u00a0December 13:<\/strong>\u00a0The Dr Batra\u2019s\u00ae Positive Health Awards stands as a unique and pioneering event in Mumbai, dedicated to acknowledging individuals who have triumphed over profound illnesses and disabilities, demonstrating resilience and optimism while actively contributing to society. The 15th edition of these prestigious awards took place at\u00a0Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NPCA Mumbai<\/strong>, where five remarkable individuals, who not only overcame adversities but also made significant contributions to the community, were honored and celebrated for their unwavering determination. The chief guest,\u00a0Fatima Sana Shaikh<\/strong>, renowned Indian Actress also graced the event.<\/p>\n

The eminent jury panel comprising of Rajiv Bajaj \u2013 MD, Bajaj Auto, Padma Shri recipient, Dr. Mukesh Batra, and Founder, Dr Batra\u2019s Group of Companies, Smt. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Vivek Oberoi, and R. Balki, had a difficult job of selecting the winners from hundreds of applications from across the country.<\/p>\n

More than 1000 industry leaders, from various walks of life graced the occasion with their presence. The audience was treated to a captivating experience, featuring musical performances by \u2018Swarrange,\u2019 an orchestra comprised of visually challenged individuals and Aamad Dance Centre showcased dynamic performances on wheelchair, adding a unique and energetic dimension to the event. The program also featured an inspiring performance by Narendra Kasyap, despite having one leg.<\/p>\n

Dr. Inshah Bashir<\/strong>\u00a0was declared the People\u2019s Choice winner with\u00a0more than 27000<\/strong>\u00a0votes, while Balalatha Mallavarapu garnered\u00a0over 21000\u00a0<\/strong>votes and\u00a0Vidhya Y<\/strong>\u00a0garnered\u00a0over 11000<\/strong>\u00a0votes. The People\u2019s choice nominations were conducted from 27th<\/sup>\u00a0November to 6th<\/sup>\u00a0December 2023 through Dr Batra\u2019s\u00ae social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Each of these awardees took home a lifetime of memories along with a certificate and trophy naming them \u2018Positive Health Heroes 2023\u2019 as well as a cheque for One Lakh Rupees to aid their journey in making this world a better place.<\/p>\n

The event saw the whos-who of both industry and the film fraternity come together to recognize these Indian heroes whose extraordinary courage. Present at the event were\u00a0Sulaiman Merchant, Madhoo Shah and Zayed Khan<\/strong>\u00a0respectively.<\/p>\n
